Quiet enough week for music – of the stuff that arrived I really like:

Grandaddy – Elevate Myself (first single from their last album)
Primal Scream – Country Girl (first single from their new album)
Breaks Co-Op – The Otherside (first single from the band Zane Lowe’s in!)

and have spent a fair amount of time listening to Jason Collett’s album Idols Of Exile…

Much, much, much to talk about on the show this week – all the schtory from the secret Red Hot Chili Peppers gig in London (I’ll have the pics and review up here when I can get a spare hour) and Messiah J & The Expert in for a chat/session on Tuesday, tracks from Stuart A Staples (he of the Tindersticks) from Eurosonic on Tue & Wed and a track from this weekend’s 2FM live on Thursday – The Flaming Lips recorded at last year’s Electric Picnic…

Other things are bound to crop up 🙂
