Confessions Of A Sociopath by M.E.Thomas

By far not as lurid as the title and the blurbs on the cover would have you believe, this is the alleged life story and career path of an anonymous lawyer and law professor who lives functioning (perfectly well thank you) as a sociopath.

It’s part her life story, part her career, part how she came to understand her condition and part a wandering through the research on sociopaths in general.

It’s interesting enough when she’s talking about her own life and how she lives perfectly happily as one, less so when it becomes fairly dull science. I ended up skimming the last few chapters.

If you’re looking for American Psycho, this ain’t it.
