Random pictures from the last weeks interspersed between some random thoughts…
I know I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again – I’m sorry about the quality of the posts here in the last few months. I went looking for something from around this time last year and what was being written was head and shoulders above the tripe I’m serving you up now! Sorry…
If it’s any consolation the radio show you’re getting now is 1000 times better than anything I’ve ever done before and that, genuinely, is where all of the effort, thought, creativity and soul is going….. It’s either one or the other I’m afraid š
Listening to the new Gruff Rhys album…. It’s very, very good…
This is the chunk taken out of my bedroom door when I pulled the robe hook down; I think it looks like the Statue Of Liberty…
V disappointed now that Torchwood is over. It was patchy in places at times but the characters were interesting enough to keep me engaged over the 13 weeks. Enough to keep me tided over til the return of Dr Who anyway š
My love to this year’s Irish Blog Awards… Yeah, I’m back presenting and all the details are up on their blog HERE. 300+ attendees? Means a busy night for Elana at the door š
This is where old tv sets go to die….
The biggest surprise about Christmas? Just how addictive Lego Star Wars is on Xbox 360… Usually I only barely have time for the occaional game of Fifa or Pro Ev but it’s just so damn beautiful, funny and well designed…. It’s evil, evil I tells ya!
And what’s more evil than Cadbury’s Creme Eggs coming back on the market when people start their diets for January? They’re now selling Club Milk in boxes of, yes that’s right, 60…..
Hot Press asked me the other day to pick my favourite episode and line for a special issue they’re doing about The Simpsons! Sweet…. Had my picture taken in radio reception gazing fondly into the eyes of a Marge Simpon doll…
Only felt like a tit when the head of radio walked by and smiled knowingly at me š
(The “Be Sharps” episode and “Duff Gardens, hurrah!” in case you’re vaguely interested and if you are then seek professionaly help immediately…)
Got invited to my brother’s stag weekend yesterday. This is only unusual and commentworthy because he’s my only sibling and this is the first time in my 33 years that I’ve been asked to a stag. Ever.
And finally – washing up scrubbers… Before and after…
More to follow, I’m sure š Sometimes I wonder is anyone actually reading all this…..?

One thought on “Either A Feast Or A Famine…”
I’ll invite you to my stag Rick. Just give me a few years to work on that constitution. š
