Really enjoyed Music Ireland on Saturday… Ended up meeting loads of people I knew, many who knew me and even a few who I knew well but only by e-mail or phone…
Met the lovely Alison Curtis for the first time ever too as she gamely defended us from the questions as moderator on our panel. As I kept saying things like “As I’m sure Alison will agree I blah, blah, blah….” she nodded gamely out of the corner of my eye – made me feel like less of a twit than I usually do at these things 🙂
Nikki and Mark had a far harder job than I – they were doing the intensive all day workshops…
Shame I only caught the end of the air guitar workshop…
Wandered for a while in awe of all the instruments on show and all of that people who could play them. The only one I ever took up as a kid isn’t the hippest in the world and it’s been a long, long time…
Browsed on Sunday, found some stuff I liked….
Found out this morning I’m getting a moxy load of page views here because of the postings about Damien Leith!! What’s that name again…….? 🙂

If you think the accordion is unhip, check out the band Beirut! You will then realise that you-as-a-child is pretty cool!
