I *adore* being asked to do things that are completely outside my brief when it comes to my job.

In the last few months I’ve been an artist, a book reviewer, off the booze for a month and I’m about to write and perform a stage piece as well as give a speech at a global epilepsy conference.

Before that though, I’m going to be one of the public readers for this year’s Words On The Street event in Dublin for European Literature Night:
